Susan & Donna New York began long before the first collection was ever designed.
It began with a dream.
As a young woman, I always believed that clothing could be more than something you wear. It could inspire confidence, tell a story, and become part of life's most meaningful moments. I wanted to build a boutique rooted in timeless elegance—pieces that felt effortless, beautifully made, and designed to make women feel their very best.
But more than anything, I wanted to build something lasting.
Something I could one day pass on.
When my daughter, Donna, was born, everything changed. My ambition became clearer. My purpose became deeper. And when I finally found the courage to build my own boutique, I already knew what it would be called.

Her name was never simply part of the brand.
She was the reason behind it.
In the early days, our boutique was small. Every rack was carefully curated, every order was packed by hand, and every customer was welcomed with genuine care. Donna would spend hours in the boutique with sketchbooks while I helped customers. She watched fittings, listened to conversations about fabrics, craftsmanship, and timeless style, and grew up surrounded by the quiet rhythm of building something from the ground up.
She saw the late nights.
She saw the challenges.
She celebrated every milestone.
While I was building a business, she was quietly growing into it.
Over the years, Susan & Donna New York became so much more than a boutique. Our collections evolved, our customers became part of our family, and what began as a small dream grew into a brand known for timeless style, quality, and thoughtful design.
And Donna grew alongside it.
She didn't simply grow up around the business—she became part of it.
As a teenager, she began helping customers in the boutique. In her twenties, she became deeply involved in styling, product selection, and creative direction. She challenged my ideas, brought fresh perspectives, and understood the heritage of our boutique while seeing where it could go next.
That's when I realized something truly special.
The dream I once built for her had become her own.
Now, Donna is ready.
Ready to lead.
Ready to grow the brand.
Ready to carry Susan & Donna New York into a new generation.
She brings a fresh, modern vision while honoring the timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and personal service that have always defined our boutique.
For me, this moment is both emotional and deeply fulfilling.
After years of love and dedication, I have decided to step into retirement.
My final collection represents the closing of a chapter that has shaped my life. Every design carries a memory. Every piece reflects years of passion, gratitude, and love for the women who have supported this journey.
As these final pieces find their new homes, I am not saying goodbye to the dream.
